SPICE GIRLS STATEMENT

         We are upset and saddened by Geri's departure but we are very supportive in whatever she wants to do. The Spice Girls are here to stay - see you at the stadiums! We are sorry to all our fans for having to go through all of this.

STATEMENT FROM GERI HALLIWELL

This message is for the fans.
         Sadly, I would like to confirm that I have left the Spice Girls. This is because of differences between us. I'm sure the group will continue to be successful and I wish them all the best. I have no immediate plans. I wish to apologise to all the fans and to thank them and everyone who's been there.

A Message to the C3 crew from Emma, Melanie C, Mel B and Victoria: 

         We're very sorry about what's happened and know many of you are too... We would like to reassure you that the Spice Girls are carrying on. We will be performing on 9th June with Pavarotti and Friends at the War Child Concert in Modena, Italy. This is to raise funds for a Children's Village in Liberia. Our North American tour kicks off on 14th June in Miami and we are really looking forward to it. The tour goes through to the end of August and we will be playing concerts all over the U.S and Canada. We will also have a film crew on the tour and there will be a tour documentary made about our exploits!

         We then return home to play at Don Valley, Sheffield on the 11th and 12th of September, followed by two shows at Wembley Stadium on the 19th and 20th September. Let's hope the sun shines! 

         We'll probably need a little holiday after all that. We'll keep Channel 3 posted of what we plan on getting up to after that.
